Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Legal Aid Commission are to exercise the authorities granted in Law no. 13/2012 “Legal Aid System” and the related supplementary legislation, including the approval and withdrawal of the application of legal aid, investigation and verification of the financial capacity of the applicant, appointment of a court legal representative, comment on and preparation of annual report for the implementation of Law no. 13/2012 “Legal Aid System” and the related supplementary legislation

Composition of the Commission:

The Legal Aid Commission is composed of an odd number of members up to a maximum of seven members and is assisted by a secretary.
